Asisat Oshoala has been removed as captain of the Nigerian women national football team.
This comes thirty months after the Barcelona player was promoted to the position in September 2019, after the FIFA Women’s World Cup in France.
Oshoala, who was used as a replacement for Victoria Okpaanozie, has now been replaced with Onome Ebi who plays professional football in Belarus.
