Former Lagos State governor, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has formally announced that he will be contesting for the 2023 presidential ticket of the All Progressives Congress.
Tinubu made this known while briefing State House Correspondents in Abuja after a meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The APC national leader said he informed President Buhari about his ambition and the President did not ask him to drop his intention.
Meanwhile; the APC is yet to fix a date for its national convention, and President Buhari had warned that the ruling party could lose the 2023 general elections to the opposition if members failed to settle their disagreement.
