Nigerian Grammy award winner, Burna Boy, has become the first African artiste to hit 200 million streams on Boomplay Music.
The music streaming platform disclosed this in a series of posts on its social media pages.
Boomplay also accompanied one of the posts with pictures of Burna Boy with a plaque in recognition of the achievement.
Burna Boy whose real name is Oluwadamini Ogulu, gained popularity in 2012 after he released ‘Like to Party’, the lead single from his debut album ‘L.I.F.E’.
