The Central Bank of Nigeria has urged Nigerians to avoid business transaction with illegal and unregistered financial operators who entice and scam members of the public with large profits.
The Central Bank disclosed this in a circular released on its website signed by the Secretary of the Financial Services Regulation Coordinating Committee.
The apex bank told the public to check the websites of the CBN, the Securities and Exchange Commission before investing in such companies and schemes.
