Covid 19: FRSC steps up enforcement of guidelines as Interstate travels resume

The Federal Road Safety Corps has warned that the lifting of ban on interstate travels should not be used as an avenue for motorists to disobey traffic rules, road safety regulations and covid-19 guidelines.

FRSC’s Public Education Officer, BISI KAZEEM, said officials of the FRSC have been directed to arrest motorists with more than the recommended fifty percent passenger capacity.

Speaking in an interview with our correspondent CHUKWUEMEKA OBIOMA, the FRSC spokesman also warned that motorists who travel within the curfew hours or engage in reckless driving would be punished.
