Singer Davido has made true his promise of donating two hundred and fifty million naira to two hundred and ninety-two orphanages in twenty-seven states.
The final disbursement occurred nearly three months after he announced his decision to donate generously to orphanages across Nigeria.
In a series of tweets last night, Davido released the full names and locations of the two hundred and ninety-two orphanages that benefitted from the donation.
Recall that Davido had in November 2021 took to Twitter to ask his followers and friends to send him money to facilitate the clearance of his Rolls Royce car at the ports.
With a target of one hundred million naira initially set for the fundraiser, Davido later got up to two hundred million naira.
The singer in a surprise twist, revealed that he would add fifty million naira and donate the money to orphanage homes.
