Senator Ike Ekweremadu has commended the Senate for reversing itself on the use of electronic transmission of results.
In statement after today’s plenary, the PDP Senator from Enugu State said what the Senate did on the Electoral Act Amendment is a huge victory for Nigeria’s democracy.
Senator Ekweremadu recalled that he had assured Nigerians in July when the first vote was adopted that there was still hope for the lawmakers to revisit the issue of electronic transmission.
