ENDSARS: SERAP drags FG Officials, Politicians, Military Officers before ICC

The Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project, SERAP, says it has filed a petition against the Federal Government with the International Criminal Court, ICC.

SERAP’s petition was dated October 21, 2020, and signed by the Deputy Director, KOLAWOLE OLUWADARE.

SERAP says it wants the ICC Prosecutor, FATOU BENSOUDA, to investigate the Nigerian authorities, including the military and some politicians, in the EndSARS protests.

The rights group claims that the authorities, the military, and some politicians are using thugs, soldiers, and security agents to intimidate, harass, attack, and kill peaceful protesters.

SERAP such violent and deadly attacks have happened in several parts of Nigeria, including Abuja, Lagos, Edo, Osun, Plateau, and Kano States.
