Insecurity: Akeredolu warns 2023 election may not hold

Nigerian politicians have continued to express fears that the 2023 general election may not hold if the current security challenges in the country continue.

The latest to express concern about the coming election in about two years from now in the Governor of Ondo State, Rotimi Akeredolu.

Governor Akeredolu, therefore, challenged the Federal Government to tackle the worsening insecurity in the country.

Akeredolu, who shared his views during an interview on a television programme monitored in Lagos, also condemned the attempted assassination of Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State last Saturday.
