Lagos rolls out plan for World Tourism Day

The Lagos State Government has unveiled plans for the celebration of this year’s World Tourism Day.

The Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, UZAMAT AKINBILE-YUSUF, said that the event would be done in line with the Covid-19 safety guidelines.

AKINBILE-YUSUF said there would be no physical contact by stakeholders during the celebration, adding that experts would help to draw up strategies for the revival of tourism in Lagos, after the Covid-19 pandemic.

On his part; the Special Adviser to the Governor on Tourism, Arts and Culture, SOLOMON BONU, explained to Lasgidi FM’s News Desk that the focus this year is the development of rural communities of Badagry.
