Meanwhile, police men attached to the Oyo State Command have taken over the Agodi GRA residence of late Senator Abiola Ajimobi.

The move is said to be connected to failure to secure the approval of the Oyo State Government for the burial of the former Governor within the compound, due to ownership dispute over the land.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Olugbenga Fadeyi, could not be reached to comment on the matter.

The Oyo State Government which is alleged to have delayed the burial of late Senator AJIMOBI against Islamic rites, has denied the accusations.
