NDLEA arrests father of 4 with black liquid cocaine at Abuja airport

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency have arrested a fifty-two-year-old father of four children who claims to be a businessman, Okeke Adolphus Anayochukwu with black liquid cocaine at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

NDLEA’s Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, who disclosed this in a statement, said this was the first time that the agency is seizing liquid cocaine since the anti-drug unit was established in 1989.

Babafemi said Okeke was arrested with over twenty kilograms of the black liquid cocaine upon his arrival at the Abuja airport onboard Qatar Airways flight from Sao Paulo, Brazil.

He said the liquid was discovered upon search of his two luggages stuffed with six smaller bags containing thirty-two-makeup mascara which tested positive to cocaine.

Okeke claimed he met the person who gave him the drugs to deliver in Nigeria for a fee of two million naira at a bar in Brazil.
