Nigeria’s COVID-19 cases hit 373 – NCDC

Nigeria recorded 30 new cases of Covid-19 on Tuesday, APril 14, 2020, which is the highest so far in the country in 24hours.

Lagos alone account for 25 of the new cases of the Coronavirus disease, while 2 were reported in Abuja, and in each of Akwa Ibom, Edo and Kano states.

With the latest update as at 11PM, Tuesday night, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, said the total number of Covid-19 cases recorded in Nigeria now stands at 373.

The NCDC also said the Coronavirus disease has now spread to 19 of the 36 states of the federation, plus the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

99 people have also recovered from the disease across Nigeria, with deaths recorded,  as at when the latest update was released.

Meanwhile; Lagos State continues to lead with the highest number of Covid-19 cases, which stands 214.

Lagos also accounts for the highest number of recoveries from the dreaded disease, with 70 patients discharged from its isolation centres so far.

Behind Lagos, on the Covid-19 statistics, is Abuja, with f58 confirmed cases, followed by Osun, with 20; Edo-15; and Oyo-11. Bauchi has 6 cases; Kaduna-6; Akwa Ibom-6; Katsina-5; Kwara-4; Kano-4; Ondo-3; Delta-3; Enugu-2; Ekiti-2; Rivers-2; while Benue-1 and Anambra-1.
