Reactions are trailing President BUHARI’s latest comment on the detention of NNAMDI KANU of the Indigenous People of Biafra.
A member of President BUHARI’s All Progressives Congress from Anambra State, Chief CHEKWAS OKORIE, says he is not surprises at the President’s comment.
Chief CHEKWAS OKORIE told Lasgidi FM News Desk in a telephone interview that he would have been surprised if the President had agreed to release of NNMADI KANU.
On the possibility of a political solution to the IPOB agitation; Chief CHEKWA OKORIE said he doubts President BUHARI would agree to make a deal.
Chief CHEKWAS OKORIE also advised those behind the agitation for Biafra to be open to settle the matter politically.
