Ohanaeze Ndigbo dismisses IPOB ban on transportation of livestock to South East

The Ohanaeze Ndigbo has dismissed the purported ban of the singing of the National Anthem and the transportation of livestock from the northern part of the country to the South East by the Indigenous People of Biafra.

The President-General of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Professor George Obiozor, in a television interview monitored in Lagos, said IPOB does not speak for the Igbos.

Obiozor also pleaded with President Muhammadu Buhari to release the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, saying that agitation in the South East is beyond Ipob and other secessionist groups in the region.
