Ondo 2020: Dep. Gov. Agboola Ajayi seeks new platform ahead of Election.

The Deputy Governor of Ondo State, AGBOOLA AJAYI, may still contesting the governorship election on October 10 despite losing the race for the PDP ticket.

AJAYI has already been linked to a possible move to the Zenith Labour Party, but he is yet to make any decision whether to join the party or any other.

Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor, BABAJIDE OKEOWO, confirmed to Lasgidi FM News Desk that his principal was still making consultations.

However; BABAJIDE OKEOWO said the Deputy Governor could not attend the Congress of the PDP in Akure yesterday because he was busy.

The PDP Congress was meant for the election of a new state executive of the party, with FATAI ADAMS and DENNIS ALONGE-NIYI contesting for the position of chairman.

The Ondo State Deputy Governor, AGBOOLA AJAYI, lost the PDP governorship ticket to EYITAYO JEGEDE in the party’s primary two weeks ago.
