Presidential Election Tribunal don give PDP and LP three weeks to prove their case

The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal don give the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party and Labour Party three weeks to prove their cases as e tek concern the outcome of the 2023 presidential election.

Na today the court state this one during proceedings and e tok se e go make hearing of the petition fast plus se the court no go allow oral examination of witnesses but adoption of witness statements dey required.

The court se star witnesses go use 30 minutes tek their evidence in chief, while dem go use 20 minutes for cross-examination and 5 minutes for re-examination.

LP Peter Obi hearing go start on May 30 and e go end for June 23.

The court give PDP Atiku Abubakar three weeks too to prove his case and him hearing go start on May 30 and go end for June 20.

The court give Allied Peoples’ Movement APM one day to prove their case as e be se na only one witness dem get to call.

APM’s hearing go start on May 30 to end July 3 and the court dey expect them to close him evidence on June 6.

The court give the first respondent, Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC two days, while the 2nd and 3rd respondents Bola Tinubu and APC get five days.
