The Nigerian Senate, Wednesday, June 8, 2020, held a special session in honour of its members and Lagos East, Senator BAYO OSINOWO, who died recently.
Following a motion by the Senate Leader, Senator ABDULLAHI ABUBAKAR, the Senate suspended its standing rules to allow late Senator OSINOWO’s family members, friends and associates into the Red Chamber to observe the session.
Thereafter, the Senate President, AHMED LAWAN, led other Senators to pay tributes to the departed lawmaker who was elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress.
