The Nigerian Army says troops have raided a camp of members of the Eastern Security Network at a forest in Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The Director of Army Public Relations, Brigadier General Onyema Nwachukwu, said the operation in Lilu Forest was conducted jointly with other security agencies yesterday.
Brigadier General Nwachukwu said Lilu Forest is in a town between Imo and Anambra States, adding that the location had been occupied by hoodlums.
He said troops recovered ten Pump Action Shotguns, two locally-made guns, one Revolver pistol, as well as undisclosed number of ammunition.
