The forward-thinking Chairman of the Federal Capital Territory Football Association (FCTFA), Alhaji Adam Mouktar Muhammed, don talk say the strong leadership style of coach Eric Sékou Chelle go help Super Eagles well well for their journey to qualify for FIFA World Cup 2026.
As e dey react to the Super Eagles’ 2-0 win against Rwanda for Kigali on Friday, Muhammed talk say the team play with confidence and purpose, and under the Franco-Malian coach, e go only better for them.
“Congrats to Nigeria, NFF, players and fans for this important away victory against Rwanda,” Mohammed tell NationSports. “E no easy at all to go away go get this kind result, but the team show hunger, determination, and composure.”
Mohammed, wey be serious NFF congressman, believe say the leadership skills of the new Super Eagles coach don already show for him first match, and e go be key for the remaining five games, starting with the match against Zimbabwe for Uyo tomorrow.
“The new coach don bring new spirit and e sabi relate well with players. I like am,” Mohammed talk with him usual happy face. “If e continue dey get good results, e fit be the perfect man for the job.

Even with the win against Rwanda, Mohammed talk say Super Eagles never qualify yet, and e go be bad thing if this generation of players no fit reach the World Cup. E advise them make dem serious for the remaining five matches, starting with the Zimbabwe game for Uyo.
“We never qualify yet, but this win don show say we mean business. If we fit win against Zimbabwe on Tuesday, e go be big boost. Of course, other teams result fit affect us, but we gats focus do our own job well, make we just pray say other teams go drop points, so we fit carry the ticket go US, Canada, and Mexico.”
