Gov. Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra don give roadside traders wey dey sell for around the newly constructed Ekwulobia Flyover bridge for Aguata Local Government Area two weeks to comot from the place.
Soludo give dis ultimatum on Thursday as e inspect some ongoing projects for the area. E tell di traders make dem relocate go the new market wey government don build to accommodate dem.
According to am, any trader wey dem catch dey sell for the flyover bridge area after two weeks go face arrest and prosecution.
“Make una go register for free for Aguata LGA if una wan get shop for the new market wey we build. Every trader suppose move go the new market,” e talk.
“E still talk say all di commercial vehicles wey dey load passengers for the flyover side suppose move go the new loading site.”
Di governor explain say di order na to help reduce traffic wahala, avoid safety hazards, and make di new flyover fine well.
E talk say government no go gree make dis new project spoil because of unregulated trading wey fit cause danger and spoil di fine urban landscape.
