Rabiu Kwankwaso, former Kano State governor and 2023 presidential candidate under NNPP, don tell the Federal Government say make dem wake up to their responsibility of protecting lives for Nigeria.
He talk this one for him X handle on Monday night, as reaction to the fresh killings wey happen for Plateau State.
At least 51 people don die and many injure as gunmen attack Zikke and Kakpa communities for Bassa Local Government Area early Monday. Plenty residents don run comot because of fear.
President Bola Tinubu, through him adviser Bayo Onanuga, talk say he don order security people make dem investigate di matter well and find di people behind am. He also beg Governor Caleb Mutfwang make e address di root cause of the fight between ethnic and religious groups wey dey happen for Plateau.
But Kwankwaso, while he condemn di attack and send condolence to Plateau people, say Plateau no suppose turn to hotbed of violence again after di small peace wey dem don enjoy in recent years.
He talk say:
“The Federal Government must rise to its responsibility to protect all lives and properties. Peace message need spread for Plateau and all Nigeria.”
He beg government to carry justice come, arrest those wey do the evil, and make dem face the law.
Governor Mutfwang don also call emergency security meeting on Monday, say him administration dey on top the matter and no go allow insecurity spoil the state.
