Marketers Dey Talk Say Fuel Go Cheap Everywhere As Dangote Don Start To Sell For Naira

After 22 days wey dem stop to sell petrol for naira, Dangote Refinery don start again to sell refined fuel to partners and marketers for local currency. Dem also reduce price from N880 to N865 per litre, to help reduce fuel price for Nigeria.

Dis move follow government order to fully implement di Naira-for-Crude policy, wey go help reduce dependence on dollar and support local refining.

  • Other refined products still dey priced in dollars
  • Coastal sales of petrol still dey on hold
  • Stations like MRS, Ardova, Heyden fit reduce pump price to around N910

IPMAN say dem happy say price don drop but some of dem still dey bleed money because dem buy stock when price high.

Federal Government talk say di Naira-for-Crude policy no be temporary – na long-term plan to boost local refining and reduce pressure on foreign exchange.
