Plenty women for Rivers State come out on Monday do rally for Port Harcourt to support state of emergency for di state.
Dis protest happen just four days after people wey support di suspended governor, Fubara, do their own rally dey beg make dem reinstate am.
But these women wey protest now carry placards wey talk things like:
- “State of Emergency Na Constitution Right”
- “No Tribal War for Rivers, No More Fubara”
- “We Want Peace, No Be Fubara”
One of the organisers, Hon. Gladys Nweke, wey be former vice chairman for Etche Local Government, talk say: “This na solidarity march to support di state of emergency. Since dem declare am, we don see peace. No more killings or cult wahala.”
