According to wetin the CEO of Richie Music Empire, Don Richie, talk — dem no dey call am Qing Madi when she dey under the label; her name that time na Madi Kid.
E say she work with the label for one year before she finally sign official four-year contract with Richie Music Empire on 21st March 2021.
Wahala come start when Don Richie travel comot from Nigeria go attend to family matters. But when he come back for 2022, na so he hear say Qing Madi don sign another deal with J-Ton, Sony Music, and Columbia Records — and na her so-called manager wey Don Richie and Richie Music Empire originally assign to her, help push the deal.
All the effort wey dem try use make Qing Madi respect her contract no work. Instead, e be like say she dey team up with other people to break the contract wey she sign with Richie Music Empire.
Don Richie don vow say he go carry the matter go court. Him talk say he go sue J-Ton, Sony Music, Columbia Records, and even Qing Madi herself.
During her time under Richie Music Empire, Qing Madi record 8 tracks wey never drop, and dem still plan to release am. One of her banger songs, “Runaway”, wey she feature one of her label mates, Blaqmanta, don already drop worldwide for all music platforms.
When dem try reach Qing Madi manager, the call no go through. All other attempts to reach her team — even Columbia Records — fail, as all of dem decline to talk on the matter.
