Him talk this one on Monday, as reply to General Theophilus Danjuma (retired) wey talk say Nigerians suppose dey defend themselves from bandits and attackers, especially for places like Benue and Plateau.
General Danjuma yarn for one public event for Takum, Taraba State, say:
“Government no fit protect everybody again. Make we defend our families and land before these criminals take over.”
But Governor Namadi no agree with that idea. E say:
“General Danjuma na respected person for security matter, but to say people should defend themselves go just bring serious wahala. We never reach that level.”
Him continue:
“Instead of that, make government at all levels continue to build better security system. If you tell everybody to carry arms, na farmer and herder fight go full everywhere again.”
