Zamfara State Police Command don stop one deadly attack wey bandits wan carry out for Keta town inside Tsafe Local Government Area on Thursday.
Di Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Yazid Abubakar, confirm di incident for one statement wey e issue for Gusau.
According to am, police don neutralize many of di bandits, including di notorious wanted kingpin, Dan Mudale, wey don dey terrorize Tsafe and di surrounding areas.
“Around 3:40pm, one good Samaritan report say plenty armed bandits don enter Keta town with bad intention.
“As response, police join body with Mobile Force, Counter Terrorism Unit, hunters, and Community Protection Guards to fight di bandits,” di spokesperson talk.
But during di battle, one police officer, four Community Protection Guards, and two hunters lose dia lives. Two other hunters dey hospital for treatment.
Di police still reassure di people of Zamfara say dem go continue to work hard to bring peace back to di state. Dem also beg citizens make dem report any suspicious movement to security agencies for quick action.
