192 Battalion completes Anti-Insurgency Mission in North-East

The Nigerian Army has pulled out troops of the 192 Battalion from Operation Lafiya Dole, after serving for about five years.

The withdrawal ceremony was performed at the Headquarters of the Seven Division in Maiduguri, Borno State.

The Acting General Officer Commanding Seven Division, Brigadier General ABDUL-KHALIFA IBRAHIM, was present at the ceremony.

He praised soldiers of the 192 Battalion for their outstanding performance, and advised them to remain disciplined as they reunite with their families and other members of the public.

Brigadier General IBRAHIM said another ceremony would be held in honour of the troops at the Nigerian Army School of Infantry Jaji, Kaduna State.
