The Nigerian Army has taken steps to strengthen security on the Abuja-Kaduna highway to deal with the problems of kidnapping and attacks by armed bandits.
This followed the deployment of additional three hundred soldiers from the Nigerian Army Women Corp to join the existing ‘Operation Thunder Strike’.
The first batch of one female combatants arrived in Kaduna Wednesday, January 27, 2021, and was received by Governor NASIR EL-RUFAI.
