A fifty-year-old father man has been remanded in police custody for allegedly raping his nineteen-year-old daughter for eight years at their family residence around Ikotun, Lagos State.
The man identified as Ede Tyndale was reported to the police by his wife and mother of the nineteen-year-old victim.
Lagos State Police Command spokesman, Bala Elkana, said that the victim had opened up to her mother that her father started having sexual intercourse with her when she was eleven years old, and that she was threatened with violence whenever she resisted him.
Elkana said the suspect was arraigned before the Chief Magistrate Court Two, Ogba on five counts of incest, rape, sexual harassment, defilement and sexual assault.
