Eight basketball players born by Nigerian parents have been drafted into various clubs competing in the US National Basketball Association, NBA.
They include PRECIOUS ACHIUWA who joined Miami Heat; UDOKA AZUBUIKE is with Utah Jazz; ISAAC OKORO was drafted by Cleveland Cavaliers; while ONYEKA OKONGWU is to play for Atlanta Hawks.
Others are DANIEL OTURU for Minnesota Timberwolves; EZEKIEL “ZEKE” NNAJI for Denver Nuggets, DESMOND BANE for Memphis Grizzlies; and JORDAN NWORA for Milwaukee Bucks.
