Traffic diversion around the Airport Road junction on the Oshodi-Apapa Expressway will continue until October 30.
This was announced in a statement by the Lagos State Commissioner for Transportation, Frederic Oladeinde.
The Commissioner said the extension is because of the failed deadline of October 3 for the completion of the repair of the Airport Road flyover.
The structure of the bridge was damaged by a petrol tanker fire in January this year.
The Transportation Commission assured that the main carriageway would be reopened as soon as the work is completed.
