The Nigerian Air Force has announced the arrest of some of its personnel who were captured in a viral online video flogging some persons who were forced to lie inside a pool of muddy water for allegedly violating the curfew in Osun State.
In a message on its social media handle; the Nigerian Air Force said it had identified all the personnel involved in the incident in Ilesha and placed them under close arrest.
It said the matter was being investigated to determine their level of involvement in eh act, after which appropriate disciplinary action would be taken.
The Air Force maintained that as a professional and disciplined force, it does not permit irresponsible acts and does not tolerate human rights violations.
It said the action of the personnel as seen in the online video does not reflect the core values of the Nigerian Air Force.
