Operatives of Operation Amotekun have completed their training and ready to begin work in Oyo State.
This followed the passing-out ceremony of the Àmòtékún Corps, which was held in Oyo Town.
In his remarks; Governor SEYI MAKINDE said members of the Àmòtékún Corps would collaborate with federal security agencies to secure the state.
Governor MAKINDE said the Amotekun Corps would be drafted to all three hundred and fifty-one wards in Oyo State.
The Governor said they would be answerable to himself and he would be responsible for their actions.
Operation Amotekun is a product of a meeting by South-West Governors in July 2019 in response to the growing security challenges in the region.
