The Adekunle-Adeniji section of the Lagos Third Mainland Bridge will be closed from midnight on Friday, October 30, to Sunday, November 1, 2020, for the second round of repairs.
This was made known in a statement signed by BOLANLE OGUNLOLA of the Public Affairs Unit of the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation.
The statement quoted the Commissioner for Transportation, FREDERICK OLADEINDE, saying that the decision is in line with the partial closure of the Third Mainland Bridge for rehabilitation, adding that the first phase of the work is almost completed.
OLADEINDE assured motorists that the section of the bridge between Adekunle and Iyana–Oworo would remain open, as well as the outbound section from Ebute Metta to Iyana-Oworo.
