The Nigerian Aviation sector recorded an impressive performance in the outgoing year, as the rest of the country continued to struggle from the effect of the Covid-19 pandemic.
An analysis of the sector shows that the money made from aviation between January and September this year increased from one hundred and fourteen point two-billion-naira last year, to one hundred and forty-six point six billion naira this year.
According to the review by the National Bureau of Statistics, aviation and other sectors of the transport industry contributed about two point four trillion naira to the Gross Domestic Product.
