The Minister of Aviation, HADI SIRIKA, has expressed satisfaction with preparations for the resumption of international flight operations in Nigeria.
HADI SIRIKA said the Aviation Ministry does not expect anything to go wrong, based on provisions made at the airports in Lagos and Abuja.
SIRIKA said foreign passengers who arrived in Nigeria without negative Covid-19 test certification would be sent back, in addition to travel restriction; while Nigerian nationals would be forced into isolation for eight days.
He said any airline on which such Covid-19 test violators are brought into the country would be made to pay a fine three thousand, five hundred US dollars.
