President MUHAMMADU BUHARI has sent the names of four nominees to the Senate for confirmation as National Commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission.
The names include President BUHARI’s Special Assistant on Social Media, LAURETTA ONOCHIE, who is to represent Delta State.
Others are Professor MOHAMMED SANI for Katsina State; Professor KUNLE AJAYI for Ekiti State, and SEIDU AHMED for Jigawa State.
President BUHARI’s letter containing the names of the incoming INEC Commissioners was read by the Senate President, AHMAD LAWAN, at the resumption of plenary.
