President MUHAMMADU BUHARI has appointment of retired Colonel MILLAND DIXION DIKIO as Interim Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme for the Niger Delta.
DIKIO takes over from Professor CHARLES QUARKER DOKUBO as the Coordinator of the Amnesty Programme with effect from August 21, 2020.
Presidential spokesman, GARBA SHEHU, confirmed the removal of Professor DOKUBO and the appointment of retired Colonel DIKIO in a statement.
SHEHU also noted that Professor DOKUBO has been directed to hand over all official matters to the most senior officer of the Amnesty Programme.
He said President BUHARI appreciated the services of Professor DOKUBO to the Federal Republic of Nigeria and wished him the best in his future endeavours.
