Completion deadline extends, as 3rd Mainland Bridge repair enters second phase

The repair of the Lagos Third Mainland Bridge has entered its second phase, as attention shifts to the second lane, inward-Adeniji Adele.

Traffic has also been diverted to the outward-bound lane heading towards Oworonshoki.

Vehicles heading to the Island are allowed to use the open lane during the morning hours, while those leaving the Island would take their turn from twelve noon.

The Federal Controller of Works in Lagos, OLUKAYODE POPOOLA, confirmed the development in a telephone interview with Lasgidi FM News Desk.

OLUKAYODE POPOOLA appealed to motorists driving on the Third Mainland Bridge to obey all instructions so as to avoid challenges in managing the traffic diversion.

The Federal Controller of Works in Lagos also confirmed that the completion of the repair of the Third Mainland Bridge has been extended beyond the initial six months due to the recent EndSARS protest.
