A Federal High Court in Abuja has dismissed a case challenging the second term election of Ondo State Governor OLUWAROTIMI AKEREDOLU.
An APC governorship aspirant, NATHANIEL ADOJUTELEGAN, filed the case to challenge the nomination of Governor AKEREDOLU as the party’s candidate for the governorship election in October.
However; Justice OKON ABANG agreed with the argument by the APC and AKEREDOLU that the case was filed outside the fourteen days allowed for pre-election matters.
Justice OKON ABANG also declared that some of the issues raised in the case concern the internal affairs of the APC.
