A Kaduna State High has ordered the release of the wife of the Shiite leader in Nigeria, IBRAHIM EL-ZAKZAKY, for Covid-19 treatment.
Justice GIDEON KURADA has ordered the Nigerian Correctional Service to evacuate ZEENAT EL-ZAKZAKY to an isolation centre.
The order was made five days after the spokesman for the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, IBRAHIM MUSA, told the media that the wife of their leader had contracted Covid-19 inside the prison.
EL-ZAKZAKY’s lawyer, FEMI FALANA, reinforced the demand for the release of ZEENAT when he appeared in court for the resumed trial of the couple culpable homicide and unlawful assembly among others.
