Covid-19 Guidelines: Lagos Worship Centres reopen June 19 and 21

The Lagos State Government has approved the reopening of worship centres in two weeks from now.

While mosques are to resume congregational worship on Friday, June 19, church would begin on Sunday, June 21.
Churches and mosques are to hold more than one service, with not more than forty percent at a time.

The religious organisations are not allowed to hold weekly activities and night vigil, while people above sixty-five are advised to avoid religious gatherings.

Governor BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU, who made the announcement in a televised address, also said a decision on reopening of schools in the state will be taken in two weeks.
