New Covid-19 cases in Nigeria have jumped by three hundred and fifteen to twelve thousand, eight hundred and one.
This was made known by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control in its latest update as at Monday night, June 8, 2020.
Lagos State recorded the highest, with one hundred and twenty-eight, followed by Abuja with thirty-four, and Rivers State got thirty-two new cases.
Edo recorded 28 new infections, Oyo-22, Kaduna-20, Gombe-13, Ogun-8, Plateau-5, Delta and Kwara go 7 each, Kano-5, Bauchi-4, and Katsina have two new cases.
Meanwhile; the number of Covid-19 patients who have recovered in Nigeria are now four thousand and forty, while three hundred and sixty-one have died.
