The controversy over the appointment of Justice AKON IKPEME as Chief Judge of Cross River State has been settled.
This is because the State House of Assembly has confirmed the appointment of Justice IKPEME as Chief Judge, based on the request of Governor BEN AYADE.
The confirmation followed a motion moved by the House Leader, PETER ODEY, who represents Ogoja Constituency.
The Speaker, ETENG WILLIAMS, said the decided to confirm the appointment of Justice IKPEME based on new information, after previously rejecting her nomination.
