ENDSARS: Falana confirms over 70 unclaimed bodies of victims in mortuary

It has been revealed that ninety-eight dead bodies were recovered in Lagos State during the violent disruption of the EndSARS protest in October.

Human rights law, FEMI FALANA, said that only about twenty of the dead bodies have been claimed by relatives of the victims, two months after the riots.

FALANA said more than seventy are still in the mortuary, adding that some families do not know that their relatives had died in the violence.

The Senior Advocate of Nigeria made this known in an interview with newsmen over the weekend.

Recall that the Chief Coroner of Lagos State, MOJISOLA DADA, had called on relatives of people who were reported missing between October 19 and 27 to visit the Lagos State Teaching Hospital to identify some dead bodies.
