Former President of Nigeria, OLUSEGUN OBASANJO, has appealed to President MUHAMMADU BUHARI to stop the military from going after peaceful protesters.
OBASANJO said the government failed to completely explore all opportunities for dialogue to resolve the issues surrounding the EndSARS protests.
OBASANJO said that the military involvement in civil protests has never produced the desired result.
OBASANJO also called on the youth to give peace a chance, adding that the destruction of property and acts of revenge against individuals will not do any good.
