The University of Lagos now has a new Acting Chairman of its Governing Council, in the person of JOHN MOMOH.
A letter from the Federal Ministry of Education, confirming MOMOH’s appointment, was signed by the Permanent Secretary, SONNY ECHONO.
MOMOH is the founder of Channels Television and he replaces WALE BABALAKIN, who was asked to step down.
BABALAKIN had been locked in a dispute with Professor OLUWATOYIN OGUNDIPE, who was also removed as Vice Chancellor.
