The Federal Government has approved thirteen point three billion naira for the enforcement of community policing across Nigeria.
The Vice President, Professor YEMI OSINBAJO, made the announcement during a virtual meeting of the National Economic Council.
According to a statement by his media aide, OSINBAJO said the approval of the fund would help tackle the security problems being experienced in different parts of the country.
He also said three state governors would meet with the Secretary to the Government, the Finance Minister and the Inspector General of Police to decide how the money would be spent.
