FG hails Nigerian-Born chair of Universal Studio Group

Nigerian-born PEARLENA IGBOKWE has been promoted to the Chairman of Universal Studio Group.

Universal Studio Group is a division of NBC Universal, which is one of the world’s leading media and entertainment companies.

The Federal Government is excited about IGBOKWE’s promotion and has sent her a congratulatory message.

The Minister of Information and Culture, LAI MOHAMMED, said the Federal Government is very delighted at the news of the promotion, which he descried as the latest in a string of successes that IGBOKWE had recorded.

MOHAMMED said IGBOKWE has a huge responsibility leading the American company’s growing global television studio business, which includes Universal Television, Universal Content Productions and NBC Universal International Studios.

He described IGBOKWE as an inspiration to millions of youths around the world and, in particular, those in Nigeria’s growing Creative Industry
